So I have decided to post up my favorites for this month since.. I think I need something to blog about. Hahaha no, I just wanted to share to you guys and make an audit of what tickles my fancy every month! :)
First off, I just want to say that I am not a skincare expert, so my review of these products are based mainly on the effect I’ve seen on my OWN skin. I’ve been using both the Clinique facial soap and Clinique anti-blemish solution since Christmas, but I noticed that it made my skin dry and it started breaking out so I decided to try Clearasil! And it worked wonders! An ultimate favorite find is this Clearasil pore cleansing pads. I love them because while every pad deeply cleanses my skin, they are also textured pads for exfoliation. And whenever I use this, it just leaves my skin feeling so fresh and clean without feeling so crisp and dry. I absolutely love it! Same goes for this Clearasil spot clearing cleam. I have been using it and so far, I’ve seen good results. It claims that this cream penetrates deep into the pore, removing germs that can cause spots and clears the skin without over-drying or leaving a residue. Amazeballs.
I decided to try this fragrance out as some of my friends have been raving about it. I love this scent because it’s not too strong, and it actually does stay on for quite some time. It has a soft feminine scent and I got just a bit obsessed with this since I started spraying it on myself at night too before going to bed just so I can smell it. Hahaha. It’s actually quite an affordable fragrance too so if you guys are interested, I do recommend this! :)
I looove this Urban Decay primer since whenever I put eye make up on, it doesn’t stay for a long period of time, and I just get too lazy for any sorts of retouch. So this is heaven’s sent. Although you only need to put the tiniest amount on your eye area when using this as this shade is a bit pigmented, and for me, it’s a bit lighter than my skin color so I try to blend it as well as I could. But nonetheless, this is an excellent product!
Gold by Giles Nail Polish - which I can’t really seem to find its name. LOL but it is a pinky, peachy sort of nude nail polish. I’ve been loving nude colors lately, and I feel sorry for my mint nail polish as I have been using it all the time. This color reminds me of summer, and whenever I don’t know what color of nail polish to put on, I usually just lean towards this one as it looks really natural and clean. It’s really affordable too, and I got it from one of the New Look stores in Wrexham! Good stuff :)
This is my ultimate favorite buy for the month! It’s actually such a splurge for me but oh well, I’ve been wanting a pair of Disco Pants for agess now. The American Apparel one is too expensive for me so I decided to get the topshop ones. If you’re looking for a good quality dupe of the American Apparel disco pants, Topshop is the place to go. I love how it just sucks everything in. LOL. And it’s very very flattering. It’s really fun to style with crop tops too since it’s high-waisted. A lot of people have been raving about this and I thought it was time to treat myself for working hard this month.
And that’s pretty much it! I haven’t bought a lot of things this month because I’m saving up for Uni and summer. But I will try to post up another one of these posts next month! Have a great day/good night lovelies! :)
